Worst/Best Spray Wax/Sealant over Collinite 845?
I remember reading somewhere on this site that there is a spray wax/sealant that does not work well over Collinite 845. Can someone refresh my memory? While I'm at it, which spray waxes/sealants have been used successfully over 845?
Thanks in advance.

I have used both Duragloss Aquawax and XMT 360 Spray Wax successfully over 845. No streaking issues or anything.

I didn't like the way PB'sW EX-P Sealant looked undernethe of Collinite 845. Chances are very good that I likely applied the C845 too thick, so I'm not writing it off...just wanted to see if I'm alone in that sentiment.

Did you have to let the 845 cure for 12 hours first?

Typically, waxes sit on top of the layer beneath them. Waxes also have relatively short durability or life span. This being the case, a sealant that sits on top of the wax will likely experience low durability as well.
Sealants bond very well to a clean prepped finish where as waxes merely sit on top...
Spray waxes like Optimum Spray Car Wax perform much like any normal wax and may even dissolve and somewhat adhere or bond to part of the Collinite 845...

I sprayed a little bit of CG V7 on some spots where my 845 was fading a little (front bumper) and it dressed it back up.

Yeah I did.
But whenever I use an AIO I usually wait an hour and then top with DG Aquawax.

i've used megs ult quick wax over 845 plenty of times with no issues (referring to the gallon megs spray wax which is called something else but the same thing as UQW according to megs)

I'm actually looking for help to find a spray wax to top the 845, not under it.
So far it sounds like Duragloss Aquawax, CG V7, XMT 360 and Meg's ULT Quick Wax work ok as a topper?
I have some kind of Meg's spray wax (need to check the specific type when I get home) that I may try in a spot to see if anything bad happens when I apply to the 845. I applied it successfully to the Griot's Paint Sealant base post-wash a couple times before I got around to applying 845.
Maybe it was the Optimum Spray Car Wax that didn't play nice with the 845? Wish I could remember or find the original posting.
Thanks for all the feedback.

845 is not a sealant so there is no reason to let it "cure"
