    Newbie Question Regarding Water Spots

I'm getting water spots on the trim of the door. These areas are a black plastic, and a reflective "metallic" plastic. Photo provided. I don't have a problem with water spots on the paint. Any guidance regarding a technique and/or product that would help is appreciated.

Are you using the same LSP on your paint and B Pillars?

Are you sure those are water spots ? Hard to tell from the pic, but I don't see the "ringlets" usually associated with water spots.

Almost looks like tire dressing sling on them.

A dedicated water spot remover may work.

You can polish them if needed.

Finish off with whatever LSP-wax/sealant/coating you are using and you should be good to go.

Yes, I finished off with a Meguiar's quick detailer a day after wash and wax just to shine it up. I thought these spots would disappear between the two.
    Thanks for your help.

Hmmm? Good question. I may have to take a closer look at these spots.

Thanks for the tips. I don't think it's tire dressing sling because nothing else on the car had those spots. I will try polishing them off like you suggest. It is ok to use the same polish I would for the paint? Thanks for your help.

Be sure that its a fine polish, as those pillars are super soft and thin.
