Will Polish , wax, sealers evaporate when vehicles are stored

I have many customers who store their ride for up to six months here in Michigan. Will wax or sealer evaporate during the storage time. ? With or without a cover. And what about outside under cover during the cold winter momnths .I am thinking not but felt like I should check.

Evaporate off the car's surface? No, but they still will degrade over time, more slowly if the vehicle is garage-kept during storage.

Good question, IDK the answer though. I think If a wax is supposed to last 6 months and you leave it in a garage for the entire 6 months it will still degrade.

    •Staying within the Waxes/Sealers categories:
-Yes, Waxes and other paint Sealers can/could
evaporate..but it depends on several factors.

    •The Waxes’/Sealants actual solvents will,
or should have, evaporate(d) within 24
hours from its initial application and then
being buffed off...leaving behind the solids
(a “phase”) of the product. {I’ll call these
    solids: a Layer of Wax/Sealant.}

    •These left behind Waxes’/Sealants’ solids
actually do keep very well indoors...and
away from UV sources. (Probably by a factor
of >20X vs. being outdoors and exposed to
UV sources, I’d be willing to wager.)

    However:
    If/When given enough Heat...these
solids (i.e. layers) of Waxes, and other
paint Sealers, will phase change to a gas.
    That is to say: evaporate.

    •Which leads to this entreaty:
-I hope it doesn’t ever get that
    hot out in your garage!

Short answer, waxes and sealants are high molecular weight and will evaporate slowly - as in years, not months.
