Gyeon Wetcoat and Matte Black Wheels

I have matte black BBS wheels and would like to add some level of protection. The car is a daily driver that gets hand-washed once (maybe twice) a month. I was thinking that a spray-and-rinse product for the wheels as part of the monthly routine would be a good balance of protection and convenience. Would Wetcoat significantly change the appearance of the matte black finish?

On a side note, I have Pure Evo on the paint (few weeks old). I would likely use Wetcoat for maintenance every few months or so.

I use Wet Coat or Hydr02 to top the coating on my matte black wheels. Other than adding some added richness, The Wet Coat (or similar) won't change the look of your matte black wheels.

If your wheels are painted or powder coated you should be fine. I have used several other spray and rinse on my matte black wheels and they have been fine.

Some products looked satin but faded fast back to Matt.

Thank you guys! I am willing to trade just a little of the look if it means protection from the elements. This is great to hear.
