Layering CanCoat

I thought I'd caught a mention that CanCoat can be layered. I've applied to some test panels on an old truck and I intend on using it for my LSP for Harley. I wanted to confirm.

I have two questions.

Can I apply multiple coats?

Once I'm done, how would you clean and maintain the bike until the next sealant or coating? Specifically, if you've used CanCoat, which washes, products, detailers, etc...do you use to keep it looking spiffy.

Don’t quote me but I believe Gyeon says it doesn’t need to be layered but you can if you want. I have been through many bottles of it and have always had great longevity only one coat. I also suggest using it over something like CarPro Essence. I’ve had a lot of customer as well as my DD last well over a year with this combo.
Maintenance for your bike really comes down to how you typically clean it. Do you do a waterless or do you use a bucket?

I'm open to either or a combination of both.

The only part of my bike that I think would be tough to clean without water would be my engine.

I was thinking I'd do waterless as regular and do a water bath every once in a while.

I really don't think there is any need to layer it. I saw 12 months with a single layer.

I topped CanCoat with Gyeon Cure and it was a great combination. Probably one of the best looking LSP combo's I've ever tried. Cure's only downside is it can be a little tricky to work with, but I found diluting it 1:1 with water and spraying it on the application towel and not the surface of the vehicle helped avoid streaking. A little Cure goes a very long way, even when diluted.

And when he says diluting with water, he means distilled water without any minerals from tap water. Using tap water may reduce the life of the new mixture.

I’d just use Ech20 to maintain it. Can use as a QD, WW & rinseless. Cleans well, lots of lubricity, nice gloss. Infinitely dilutable to your needs.
If your not riding in the rain, your cases shouldn't get too dirty. Compressed air will help clean out all the nooks and crannies for the most part.

It gets wet all the time. I don't do it on purpose, but I don't avoid it. When you're touring cross country, sometimes you just get wet. It's pretty much my daily driver as well, so I'll get caught on the way home from work, or it will get rained on in my work parking lot.

Yes it can be. It doesn’t require it but you are more than welcomed to apply a second layer 1 hour later.

Now I recall that Jeff from Gyeon told me it was 4 hours to top it with Cure. I’m going off the top of my head from and old message to Jeff.

Cure works great with it. I never had to dilute it as it worked fine for me at full strength. That combo will get you a year of not a little longer. Pair this up every couple months with the new Gyeon ceramic Detailer and you will be just fine.

Before I recommend any wash products, how do you typically wash this?

Wash from this point forward will be two bucket method

I found the two bucket method to be swirl instilling,not safe enough, so that's why I wash with an extreme method now.
