lol.
I already washed and sealed the paint. That 1st wash went ok but the drying of the virgin black paint with no lsp was PITA! Using the Big Blue felt like trying to dry the truck with a big plush blanket! Lol. I was like I better not be instilling swirls right now!
lol. I made it through unscathed.
Hey, blood is different. Unless you F it up........... :P
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Thanks for the reminder Jeff. I ordered some up yesterday to coat the trim on my wife's car and then mine later this summer once I re-do it all. Looking forward to using it.

No you would not want to be applying TRIM over Solution Finish. We want a pure bond between the coating in the plastics with no other product in between.

Jeff
I can assume you would suggest using PREP in order to prep the trim for....TRIM. See what I did there? ....However, if you have a trim that might need a little boost/restoration, but would still like to use TRIM as a coating for extended durability, what product(s) would you suggest to use prior to applying TRIM? I ask because you didn't seem too keen on using Solution Finish prior to application, but i'm not sure if there are alternatives that would fit the bill.
Thanks in advance.

I have used Solution Finish to restore trim that Q2 Trim just wouldn't darken up on its own. The key I found was to wait 1-2 months after SF application. I simply had my customer come back and do it 6-8 weeks after. Worked great and is holding up fine.
