    Re: Griots G8

    And....

When you read the first article I linked to - I say in it that I had JUST received the 10 of the G8 and 10 of the G9 polishers for my February 2020 3 Day Detailing Bootcamp Class.

I didn't time to use the tool as I was setting up for 20 students and 16 cars.

But - if you click the link below you will see people using the new G8 and G9 polishers. Actually the first detailing class in the U.S. and probably the world to get to use these tools as they were just launched.

Every "Tool Set" I teach in my class gets its OWN 2 cars for the class to work on. My classes are hands-on with tools and if you think about it - the only way to get hands-time with so many tools is to have LOTS of HUGE cars for the class to work or train on.

For the Griot's tools - the class had an two old 2-door Chevy's, one old 2-door Buick and one old 2-door Ford to practice on.

You'll actually see ALL the Griot's tools in use in the pictures but the focus of the first class was the G8 and the G9 - the second Griot's session was focused on the BOSS 15 and BOSS 21 - but at the same time - I let the students use what they are interested in as we go.

No matter what the car or the tools... they always come out shiny.

The G8 has lots of power for it's size.

I'd recommend sticking with the Griot's 2" and 3" BOSS pads.

I have a Flex 3 inch polisher, I only have one hand and I used it with 4 inch pads and polished my Volkswagon and my Colorado pickup truck using Jescar Powerlock sealant and Collinite 845. It did not take that long.

I know I don't need it but it would look nice next to it.
The new gens are very sharp looking. I have the older G15.
