Just get a 5" and 3" backing plates and pads.

I have the plates and pads already for the g6...I was trying to figure out if it was worth upgrading the g6 to the g9?

Re: Just Received My GG G9
I bought the 25’ power cord for my G9. I hated dropping the money on it, but after using it during a job, I don’t regret it.
I wonder if Griot’s has a buy back program for their 10’ cords.

If you have the coins, go for it.

I went ahead and tacked on a 5" vented backing plate for another $20. Looking forward to getting it. I read a review of a guy being on his 5th power cord. Anyone else having problems with them?
Just got a Griot catalog in the mail today and the G9 is still $149.99.

I am the same way. I only use my GG6 twice a year, and that is for my own truck and wife's Jeep which are both babied.
The GG6 makes quick work of them, so I can't justify the extra cost.
I could have actually stuck with my PC and probably been fine, but it is now my 3" machine.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
