    Add G9 from PC 7335?

Being a previous owner of the GG6 and a PC...I favored the GG6.

Not owning a GG9 yet and knowing what I know now as a professional, here is my take.

The GG6 is still used professionally today amongst many. As a short throw polisher, I remember it still having plenty of power to do great work.

Mike’s review of the GG9 sounds glowing.

Being used to a long throw machine and also formerly owning a G21 & G15, I miss the grips and ergonomics and enjoy the rotary-like handle.

With all that said, if I am in your position, I would not hesitate to purchase one for the price. It seems like it would hit all the check marks.

Plus they replace products faster than you can hang up the phone. GREAT SERVICE!

Unless you are unhappy with the performance of your PC, I agree to this suggestion, or just not spend on another machine, albeit a very good one. If you determine a new machine is in your best interest, the G9 is a fabulous machine and as others have said, best bang for the buck.

Re: Add G9 from PC 7335?

I just did exactly what you are considering. I use the G9 with a 5.5" backing plate and use my PC exclusively for 3" work. They make a great combo. The PC with the 3" pad feels very similar in power to the G9 with the 5.5". Maybe just slightly less so. My advice is to add the G9 to your collection if you plan to do yearly compounding work. If you are only doing a light polish 1-2 times per year to maintain your cars finish then stick with the PC.

In the comments there is a gal that this has happened with the first 2 G9 polishers she got. It's a new polisher so maybe some this can happens to. Just hope it's not something that going to happens on many of them. Looks like a great polisher though.
