Lake Country 6.5" Foam Pads and The Boss

I am considering upgrading my regular gg polisher to 15mm The Boss but I have all 6.5" lc foam pads. Are these ok to use with The Boss?

You can put a G21 Backing Plate on it. I have a G21 (6" bp) and run the G15 (5" bp) plate on it.

    Hey Bud,
Thank you for considering THE BOSS G15. Lake Country makes some great pads. There are several designs available. At the end of the day, THE BOSS will perform best with low-profile pads that weigh no more than 32g + dry. The challenge with 1" Pads is they weigh more, but more importantly have a higher capacity to hold Compound/Polish. As one works around the car, the pad will progressively increase in weight. It'd be important to frequently rotate to new pads to ensure smooth operation.

Hope that helps. All the best to you!
