Can I use my backing plate from my GG6 with lake country or chemical guys pads?

Yes that should not be an issue. The PC and GG6 basically share the same BP as well as Pads from Lake Country of Chemical Guys which are basically Buff and Shine clones. Someone mentioned if the PC7424 XP is quieter than the GG6. I do not know, however, I can tell you the PC7424 is much quieter than my Flex 3401.
