    Re: Small Flex interest thread

Mike and Setec, i would be all over this offering! I mean completely bought in. I have also seen this as a void in the market and i simply make do with the equipment i have however there would be a great deal of comfort in me if i could simply grab a nice machine to finesse areas that i currently struggle with some inefficiencies.

Great idea boyz. And i offer this opinion in the context by which it was asked...no complaints, challenges, criticisms...just a voice from an end user who would be more than willing to shell out some bucks to help me do my job better!

    Thanks.

Forced rotation on a PC style chassis - with the ability to switch between 3" & 5" pads. I would be ok with a thumb operated on/off switch.

I am in as well. I would add to my flex line up.

Great idea, Mike! I, as you, also believe there is a market for such a machine. I'd buy one in a minute. Take care all.

    Peace,

I would absolutely love to see this happen. I'm getting by fine now, but this would make life so much easier.

    Re: Small Flex interest thread

I am a Flex guy always will be and if Flex came out with something like a mini-forced rotation DA polisher; I would buy it in a heartbeat.
My 1st hand experience with the Flex 3401 only reinforces the "hopefulness" of Flex coming out with that type of DA.

    Re: Small Flex interest thread

I've been wanting a small DA for the small areas.

What I like with the flex is the build quality and performance and that I'm not limited to pad choice.....by that I mean i'm not limited to this "using our pads = best balance, rotation etc.". That would mean altering my technique, trying new things and learning a new type of machine altogether. This is the only reason I did not get a rupes mini (apart from the 4" pads). The ibrid is convincing, but would never be as covincing as a flex with 3" pads.

I would love the pe8 flex kompakt and the access to pads as small as 1", but as a hobbyist, I don't think i am or will ever be comfortable buying a rotary.

TL/DR - Hell yes to the mini flex

Would love to add that to my 3401 for detailing!
