    So after getting this you have options to go to different size Edge products as well as use the std. LC pads on the stock plate. I wasn't sure if you had to ship them your stock plate for modification. I would like to have both options.

    Yes you have both options.I think some people sent in their backing plates to speed up the process and lower the cost due to edge inorder to make the adapter they had to order original plates from Flex in which to modify them. Last I remember Aron from Edge mentioned that they were working on molding their own plates for the task.But I don't know how far that has come.Thats why there is a limited supply at this time. BNeing that its a slow process.

    I am thinking of getting the Edge Flex adaptor plate but there don't seem to be any 4" Edge Pad deals. Am I missing something? I want the 4" pads for tight area use.

    Cyclo DoublePrecision pads are double-sided foam buffing pads for the Cyclo polisher.
