If you can’t find a G9 Also look for used shurhold 21 mm they are a boat detailing company sell range of polisher that have a ton of power. I have one used it for years it’s been reliable.
Then the G9 it is. looking at some used online. If I wear it out I'll be able to afford new no problem, and if I don't I can sell it for about the same as I paid for it. Only thing is I still can't find a wrench for them. Tried searching 'griots wrench' on ebay and google but nothing.
Are they called something else maybe?

Could always grind it down flatter
I was thinking about the OP's problem and the thin wrenches I've used on my bicycle in the past, so I did a little digging.
In my search I stumbled across "super thin open end wrenches" at a certain site named after a large river in South America. They look a lot like the wrenches I used and a couple of them look to be about the same thickness as the wrench Griots includes in the box with my G15 and G8. The set isn't that expensive and would probably be handy for other uses too. At least one of them has a 14mm wrench.
