Flex PXE 80 for Headlight Sanding?
How does the PXE 80 perform when doing a headlight correction with 3" #400 grit to #4000 gritsanding disks?
Like Mike has done with the G8 in this article: Review: Griot's Garage G8 Headlight SanderReview: Griot's Garage G8 Headlight Sander
I've performed the method outlined above with the discontinued Griots 3" sander in the September 2019 class and need a tool for headlight corrections I have coming.

Sure...Why not?
You have 3 attachments to choose from---Rotary, 3mm DA and 12mm DA.
Use the 12mm da to sand the headlights. You can try the 3mm but kind of find it on weak side. But give it a shot!

I'm debating the purchase of one and not sure if it has the power to run a 3" sanding disk on plastic headlights.

You can do it using the 12mm drive unit but not the 3mm or rotary drive units.
It's a tick on the anemic side.
I'd use the Griot's G8 or a PC like tool.
But yeah - it does work.

Sorry...I thought you had the PXE...
Like Mike said---Griots G8 IS dang good machine! Has far more power than my Griots 3", "peanut."
I have the cordless PXE and love it...
Fact don't need the cord is game changer for me....
I now use it all the time and also have ready for every detail...
