My Supra Beast is due in tomorrow and I hope to use it on a detail this coming weekend. Love my 3401 units and they are truly great machines. I'm keeping the 3401's set up for larger wool and hybrid force pads and using the smaller stock backing plate of the Supra in tandem with the beveled Rupes pads.

Curious as to your thoughts though.

She came in today and will be used to correct a Black 2011 VW Toureg. Haven't seen it yet but according to the owner it's pretty swirled up. I'll likely be using both the 3401 and the new XCE on this job. Stay tuned.

I am getting in on the Flex wagon.

What I don't get---Both Beast and Supra Beast are the same? Both are 8 mm force rotation. What gives?

New one is loads quieter and somewhat smoother. Runs cooler but eventually warms up like the old one.

    Pm'd you.

Just ordered mine today. Now I'll have the original beast, Makita PO5000 and the supa beast. Can't wait to try it out.
