Flex and Menzerna polishes .. trust me you'll be impressed and quite happy. 106FF is a must have polish but light. Add in SIP or IP as needed. For waxes, SSII by Pinnacle wont break the bank and look dripping wet.

so your saying all i really need are 3 things then? 106FF, some SIP or IP (ok, i finally understand what these are... lol) and then some pinnacle wax.....dosnt seem too bad...and these 3 polishes will be good for intermediate to heavy scratches too?

Considering you already have rotary maybe you could just stay with rotary if you have enough time to practice it to perfection.

the porter cable looks like a good, small unit that i can can get started with....do you think the HD upgrade is worth it? is there any difference besides the warranty and the cord?

G110 for more power, but I personally fail to see the need for the HD option personally.

I have a PC and Makita - love them! But, I tried a G110 the other day and I will have to say, if the PC dies - the G110 will be the replacement.

Have you had a chance to try UDM? I am asking because I am curious would you find G110 better than UDM like I did.

    Re: rotary or orbital?

Not tried UDM, I tried the G110 at a Detail Meet a few days ago. I thought they were supposed to be very simular if not the same.

    BTW - I'm looking at B06040, just looking, but I knew you had one - so what's the Pro's & Con's?
