Thoughts about using mobil 1 synthetic oil to lube flex felt ring

    Any thoughts....recommended ? Doesnt matter?

Ive seen that 321 oil or air tool lubricant was recommended....

I tend to use mobil1 synthetic whenever possible....for lawnmower..oiling hedgetrimmers etc....

I don't think it matters... it's not like the rod bearings in a racing engine.

I think I've used Olive Oil one time... it's what I had by me.

If you have the synthetic stuff already then use it. Couldn't be any worse than olive oil.

I don't see why that would be a problem, personally.

Thanks for taking the time mike....as my flex is oncoming today...wahooooooo

Looks like we r both early risers..

Share quick humor related to mobil 1

Helped my neighbor with stalling lawnmower..said check air filter...he says whete is that....**wow...really**..he opens up filter..says looks clean to me..i said thats the clean side...take it out of the housing...it was completely filled with lawn waste clippings....

Gets better...i walk away and say..hey try giving mobil1 synthetic a try when you change the oil...i find it runs stronger/smoother and quieter....he says..." wait..you are supposed to change the oil on a lawnmower?".

I said..its your mower....you dont have to do anything you dont to..you also dont have to sharpen the blades either .........*holy smokes*....nice guy but wow......lol
