    Smoking Cyclo?

    Dear All,
I purchased a second hand Cyclo and in my first session of using it I switched it off and on 5 times in the span of 15 minutes.
The first four times there was no problem what so ever it was working as it should.
On the fifth time it started working fine till about 10 seconds into being switched it there was smell of smoke. I began to see a small trail of white smoke coming out of the rear. I then switched the Cyclo off and put it aside and saw more smoke coming out of the rear, I then unplugged it and haven't switched it on since thinking it would be dangerous to do so.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It could simply need the brushes replaced. There are several You Tube videos showing how to do this.

Just keep using it until it catches fire. When it does please have a camera close by
