Cyclo Model 5 Polisher
I purchased Cyclo Model 5 polisher that I received today, and I have a couple of questions.
The backing plates have four plastic posts around the mounting stud. Should the backing plate be mounted until if bottoms out on the mounting nut? The four plastic posts extend to the outside of the mounting nut and I presume is a method of preventing the backing plate from vibrating loose.
The mating of the aluminum casting is not tight all around. On the outside edge above the pads, there is almost a 1/16" gap between the top and bottom casting. Is this OK?
