Has anyone installed VES counter weights on vintage cyclo?

    Hello geeks!
Have any of you guys installed cyclos VES retrofit system on your vintage cyclo? Well I have and I'm getting more vibration with the VES ,than without. But I've been thinking , my rubber pads are installed with bearings, and possibly the cause of the excess vibration. I've been in contact with cyclo, they left me a message on Friday, have to wait tell Monday to talk to them. So I've been surfing the web for answers, which brought me here.
Think I may have found my answer while browsing the store for cyclo accessories. I noticed the current black rubber pads have no bearings. My gutt is telling me the new rubber pads would solve my excess vibration, I need to know for sure... Thanks Mike

Re: Has anyone installed VES counter weights on vintage cyclo?

For those of you, wondering if I solved the excess vibration on my vintage cyclo.. The excess vibration is gone ,after timming the heads and changing out the early pads (bearings installed in pad). To the current pads p/n 60-055 along with the rubber pad holders 79-101x2. Runs smooooooooth...
In closing, along with the VES retro fit kit , items you will need, polisher heads p/n 60-055 and rubber pad holders 79-101x2. This will allow you to use the current Velcro pads.. or you can use the low profile polish head it will eliminate the use of the rubber pad holders.
The old cyclo runs great real smooth !! Hope this helps someone on the fence about installing the VES retro fit kit on their vintage Cyclo..
