    BF Sealant

Today I went to use BF Sealant and I couldn't get it to mix back together. It was the new label in the 32oz bottle. I shook it for a long time but no luck. Got it from a place other than AG which PBMG obviously supplies. I have an old bottle with about 1oz in it from when PBMG bought BF and it was fine. Anyone else have this issue? My guess is it may have been extreme temps at the other supplier. Wasn't a big deal and in the trash it went. I have about 150 other LSP's anyway and I tend to prefer wax.

Separation has always been a problem for me with BF sealant. I have had good success with added a nut or ball bearing to the bottle. It seems to help with the mixing.

Yes, and a stainless steel nut or ball bearing will prevent unwanted rust if it’s in there a long time. There have been a few threads about BF separating. I have 3 bottles of the old label and I check/shake them every few months. So far so good.

That’s a good idea, Pat. I did try stirring it with no luck tho.
