Angry I am ROYALLY PISSED OFF!

I used a tire shine product on my 4 month old 2016 Mazda and now I need to replace a rim, need to to check the others but all I know is that the following day the clear coat on my rim started peeling away from the paint. I am reasonably sure it was due to the tire shine product.

    Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah what was it? Did you use a cleaner with hydrofluoric acid or something before youvused the dressing?

Did you only apply tire shine or were there other processes done? A wheel cleaner perhaps?

I Highly Doubt the condition of the rim was a direct result of any tire shine product

Looks like other Mazdas have a wheel coating/paint problem.

Re: I am ROYALLY PISSED OFF!

My buddy and I were just talking about bubbling wheels because my wife has aftermarket wheels on her 2007 Mazda 6 and they are bubbling around the lug nut area. My buddy said Mazda has been having a problem with their wheels, there's something to this for sure. A brand new wheel shouldn't be doing this unless you used acid wheel cleaner, my wife's wheels have about 100k on them and have seen 4 winters here.

Good luck and keep us posted, doesn't hurt to gain info on things like this.
