    Competition Ready - Episode 3

It might have been edited out due to time constraints, but was the car clayed? On the show it looked like the team went from washing the car to taping and then compounding.

Also, at the beginning of the program there was some discussion about the condition of the trim, and unless I missed it, I never saw anything done to it. What was used to restore the trim?

Sonax was the product of choice on this episode. They have their own trim product.

Was a decent episode. I am curious how much the car sold for. I saw 65K but there was nothing said about how much it was sold for.

Wish they didn't skip so much, and mentioned how much the car went for. I enjoyed it, but unless it gets more about the meat of detailing and less about "hurry, hurry, hurry, we are almost out of time!" I don't think it will last more than this season unfortunately

Was it me or did Mike say 4 in. foam cutting pad the second time with the PE-14 and not 1 in. foam cutting pad.

Episode 3 was much better than episode two. Any show on detailing is better than no show at all. It does need to be an hour show to do justice to the hard work. They can cut out the "Charlie's Angels" approach to the start of the show to put more meat on the bone of the detailing job itself.

I found where it went for $95700. Google russoandsteele 1984 Porsche. Might have been at a later auction though. Looks like the same car.
