Compiling the list right now. Basically coping and pasting all name suggestions into Notepad and then from Notepad into MS Word.

Marketing companies get paid more than $100 to do concept and creative work like this.

We simply realize the collective creativity and talent of our forum community and when possible like to share the fun.

I'm sure they could come up with something on their own, but maybe they wanted to include us as something fun for the forum/customer. Not everything has to be about money��

Me personally? I'm just a HUGE fan of brainstorming. More minds = more ideas and you never know where the perfect idea just might come from.

That's how brainstorming works. The initial phase doesn't have to make sense. All that's needed is to start the process.

Turn the business into a symbol. Could market cars or business owners done through the class as "Corvette(+)" or "Businessname+" like it or they have been upgraded. Especially if you came up with some sort of certification program which I know some of the people in the industry complain about a lack of to separate teens with rotaries from actual business owners with a passion and attention to detail. Something this simple would be easy to add to business logos and cards giving credence to the business as a respectable establishment while at the same time boosting your own notoriety and necessity in the auto detailing education marketplace.

If you are serious about expanding classes and have a solid curriculum in place, you could set yourself up as a standard for training. Your business name could become the "carfax" or "kleenex" of the industry. It is going to be hard to do that as "autogeek" so I understand the foray into re-branding for the class aspect.

we're expanding our detailing classes and we want to draw from the collective creative people here on our forum.

We're looking for a new name with a twist. Here's some examples of the direction we want to go with this name.


examples

apple is a fruit but now it's known as a cell phone, computer, tv etc.

safari is a journey through the jungle but now it's known as a web browser.

chrome is a metal coating on a bumper or wheels but know it's a web browser.

flex is something you do with your muscles but now it's a tool.

monster is something like frankenstein but now it's an energy drink.

boss is your employer but now it's a tool.


Basically taking an adjective and turning it into a noun. Or simply changing the historic meaning of a noun to something new.
