I love the candied look on a pre-erra classic car. It almost modernizes it, and I bet that had a lot to do with it winning. I imagine that every other car had carnauba (not a bad or wrong thing), but I bet that classic just stood out above the others due to the glassy look. Real nice.

Maybe... Sam's 1956 is a high caliber build streetrod. It has hundreds of custom touches inside and out.

My goal was to give his car every possible chance at winning at this show and that's why I chose to use a paint coating instead of a wax or sealant.

That's what we were hoping for. Nothing wrong with waxes at all in fact I use quality waxes a lot more often than I use paint coatings for very specific reasons.

For this show though... a coating was the way to go....
