I never really thought about fire extinguishers until I saw a 1971 Chevelle go up in flames.
To me, it seemed like a wise decision, especially with older carburated vehicles, that clearly aren't getting any newer. Seals dry out, gas may leak, exhaust manifolds get hot. There are many reasons!
I picked up a couple at Wally World and always have them right within reach below the driver's seat.
