Pictures from June 27th 2015 Cars and Coffee

This past Saturday we were out bright and early for Cars & Coffee at Audi Stuart & Infiniti Stuart. Awesome cars, delicious food and great people all came out and had an amazing time.

Mike Phillips was out and demonstrated how to remove swirls from a Brand-New Audi RS7 that was covered in swirls.
The entire car was covered with swirls like this:

After using Wolfgang Uber Compound 3.0 the difference was night & day, even on the white paint.

Mike followed up with Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover and then Wolfgang Finishing Glaze the bring the hood to a level of gloss that it has never seen before.

Mike ended up doing the entire hood and topping it all off with Wolfgang Füzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax

We all know that white is the most difficult color to make 'Pop' from detailing, however I think we can all agree that Mike managed to do so on this one, check out the reflections:

    And... no holograms...

Compared to the rest of the car which still looked like this:

At the end of the event we had a raffle and gave out several prizes including; Autogeek Detailer's Bags, Pinnacle Wash Bucket & a Pinnacle Sizzling Shine Kit.
    Here is one lucky winner:

Can you guess which car this interior belongs to?

Not sure? Maybe this shot of the engine will help

    That's right, a beautiful Ford Gt40

To the untrained eye this may look like a 'regular' Ford Mustang GT.

Look a little closer and you'll see that this is a Shelby edition 'Super Snake' GT500.

    This Mustang looks normal enough...

But look a little closer and you'll find a hint that something special may be lurking underneath that hood

The metallic flake on this 427 Cobra really shines in the sunlight.

Hmm... What's that hiding in the bushes?

One of 1350 ever produced this 1966 Shelby GT350 Mustang is all original and in immaculate condition

For those of you who don't know, this is a Plymouth Prowler

Awesome! Thank you for sharing mate.

Looks like a great turn out again. Always seems to be alot of different cars at each Cars & Coffee. Some very nice rides there, stunning weather, wow! What more could you ask for!

    Jealous!

Same pad I recommend in my how-to book and that's the 6.5" Orange Hybrid Foam Cutting pad on the factory 5.5" backing plate.

    Simple. Effective.

Just to note, this Audi was a trade-in so chances are very good the holograms were instilled while the previous owner was in possession of the car.

There were two places on the hood where you could see machine sanding marks. In the real world this is something that should send up a RED FLAG if you're detailing a customer car. For example, perhaps the hood of front clip or even entire car had been repainter? Or perhaps the person doing the sanding sanded to long and remove too much material. Then some innocent detailer comes along and after a few passes burns through the clear?

I remove most of them without getting crazy aggressive and called it good as it was just a demo of Wolfgang products.
