I do a good many boats, I price them at $30/ft to correct all the gelcoat surfaces. $35/ft if the boat is black. The important thing to a complete and lasting gelcoat correction is to abrade away ALL of the oxidation. I accomplish this either via damp sanding with Trizact 1000/3000/5000 discs on my DA or by using 3m Super Duty on a wool pad with a DeWalt 849X rotary. Regardless, I follow this up with Meguiars M205 on a foam pad with my Griot's G21. For an LSP I really like Duragloss D101.
