    BF HYDRO SEAL

    BLACKFIRE HydroSeal Concentrate (autogeek.net)

Used this on her Escape well over a month ago. Noticed this is really doing it's job. Vehicle is staying cleaner longer and beading is fantastic. One of the better spray and rinse products.

Have you also used McKees Hydro Blue? Wondering how they compare.

BOTH good products. As mentioned above, these type of products are great for wheels.

I have used the Sonax Spray and Seal and have been happy with it. I have also tried the DP Detailers version and was not so impressed. It did not last that long and it was streaky. I wonder if the Blackfire version is better.

    Re: BF HYDRO SEAL

I just got some of the BF Hydro Seal for our RV. After taking delivery, we saw it really does need to be corrected first. So the plan is BF One Step, panel wipe, then we'll give Hydro Seal a try. I'm not finding anything about using the HS on glass, so not sure if I'll try it on the glass as well, or go with something else. Also, the RV is full paint with clear over the graphics, so I'm thinking it shouldn't be any different than one of the cars. Just a whole lot more surface area to deal with. Anyone see any issues with this idea? The RV is in covered storage when not being used.

BTW, I have learned a TON from you all here on this forum - I'm extremely appreciative of the expertise you guys share and we get compliments on our cars all the time!

Washed her Escape yesterday. And gave it another booster shot with the BFHS. No issues with glass. Just make sure you do a strong and complete rinse off. I use about 3 sprays per panel.

How do you propose to keep it off glass when it's a sprayable product?

If I couldn't use it on the glass like I can the paint, then I guess I was just thinking that I'd have to be careful around the glass. If it works well on glass, then I guess I'll not worry about it and see how it goes. Other than that, I hadn't cooked up any serious proposal for keeping it off the glass.
