So far I've documented only FOUR of the 11 cars this class trained on!

    More to come!

Next Roadshow Classes are in Maine in October and Colorado in November!

Remember - everything you see the people doing in this picture documentation of what our classes look like are the things you'll be doing when you attend one of our future classes.

As you can see - these are HANDS-ON classes.

There's very little butt-time sitting on chairs listening to someone drone on and on about the "idea" of detailing only then to have you watch them do a demo.

In our classes you learn by doing - not sitting or watching others doing.

It's always been how we teach, not a new format.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - nothing beats the real-deal however.

    Special Treat!

The opportunity to work on single stage paint is becoming incredibly RARE!

Think about it... they quit spraying cars at the factory level starting on 1980 (see the first chapter in my book, "The Complete Guide to a Show Car Shone") that was 37 years ago!

Jesse (Alumni Student) and his wife Denise (attending this class) brought with them from their home town a 1969 Chrysler Newport Convertible with dull, chalky oxidized single stage paint and trusted our class to restore it!

    Thank you Jesse and Denise!

Here's the trunk lid where we will go over the #7 Rub Down Technique for restoring original and antique single stage paint

    Before

After - this was done using ONLY #7 a piece of terrycloth towel and elbow grease supplied by yours truly.

Back to sharing pictures from this class...

After demonstrating the technique for rubbing down oxidized paint with terrycloth and #7 I turned the class loose on the classic Chrysler Newport Convertible.

After gorging the single stage paint with the TS Oils found in the #7 the class wiped off the remaining residues in preparation for machine buffing.

    RUPES to the RESCUE!

This the Test Spot performed to the single stage paint AFTER the #7 Rub Down Technique.

For this we used Blue/Blue with a BigFoot 21 Mark II Orbital Polisher.

Amazing results in the test spot!

Next we used the RUPES White/White Diamond Ultra Fine polish and ultra soft white foam finishing pad to polish the paint and maximize gloss and clarity after the compounding step.

Sorry didn't gay any pictures of the polishing step as I was a tick busy
