SunJoe SPX3000 longer hose?

Anyone know if the Spx 3000 will do ok with a 50’ 5/16 hose vs a 50’ 1/4 hose. Talking ID to clarify

I run mine with a 3/8" 50' MTM Kobrajet hose with no issues - so don't think that would be an issue.

Determined the flexzilla hose does not work with the sun joe hooked up and sprays from both end where they attach to gun and to the back of the unit. Threads are the same but the nipple on the ends is smaller and the oring doesn’t even touch therefore no seal and we have a leaky setup. So anyone with a spx3000 don’t buy this.

SunJoe has that whole 15mm - 14mm wonkiness going one. Usually this fitting will step it to the right size:

Thanks - and I took a look and I have that adaapt er as t was included with my MTM Canon kit.

I don’t see how that will solve a problem of a seal. The factory hose has an oring that fits snug in the hole. The flexzilla hose is the same thread as the factory but the nipple is a smidge smaller and the oring does nothing. It is just a thread seal and a very tiny point where the bevel and the pressure washer seal. That fitting won’t fix it imo but I’m no engineer

14mm on one side, 15mm on other. The Flexilla fitting is 14mm so will not seal in the SunJoe 15mm female fitting. Adapter is 14mm on one side so Flexilla will fit into it and seal and the other end is 15mm which will allow a (very Tight) seal to the SunJoe male fitting. Or vice-versa, or something else completely. I'm generally wrong more than I'm right so YMMV...:lol:

If the 15 mm had a nipple that inserted as well as the threads I could see it seal. May grab 2 just because at $3 who really cares

The fitting adapter is often used when you convert to QC on the original hose. Or if you extend with an extra hose with the 15mm fitting. I would just look up what adapters and fittings to convert to the QC system. Do you have the M22 out from the PW hose outlet and in the spray gun handle?

Nope just running the factory sun joe stuff minus hose, which I’ll be swapping back to until I can make this flexzilla work
