Soak in a bucket with soap and water -woolite is fine- Rinse out with your garden hose , shake out as much water as you can .Put wet bonnet on your buffer and let it spin dry, should take about less then 10 minutes. Be careful when you first start the buffer , a wet bonnet will spray water all over the place.

some people say never to wash wool pads...just spur or brush them clean...but if you want woolite or any pad cleaner will suffice...the big thing is to make sure it dries asap...

I'm with orngez, I've only heard of wool pads being cleaned out with a spur or brush. I haven't used them too much but I'm sure I'll be finding out soon.

Hey Bence...that's right...I remember the pictures. Question Bence, what is it that you use to wash them then?

Usually APC from a sprayer and a rub with a normal bar soap. Then rinse.

I wash mine out almost daily! Plain running water and agitate the wool surface with my hands. Compress with hands to wring out excess water and hang up on a peg overnight. Next day, spin dry on the rotary. I have 3 pads and 1 is always drying like that. The dealer put 2 wool pads (from his 3M rep) in the dryer and the heat deformed the plastic backing something terrible!

I was always told to wash wool pads with just plain water or a mild soap and water..never use any thing harsh..it will degrade the wool fibers....make them sorta brittle....
