    How do you clean brushes?

I bought a set of the mothers brushes which includes the wheel brush, fender brush, and tire brush. These brushes are awesome no doubt! However, after my second time using them they've collected some dirt. It seems to be more greasy and it's almost impossible for me to rinse it off. It seems to have reduced the softness of the brush. How do you guys go about cleaning your brushes?

Cut some degreaser 1:1 with water, spray and scrub.

If you have tar or grease on the brush I would spray some APC and let it dwell

i agree these brushes are really nice. the tire brush is stiff enough and the wheel brush is soft enough.

I just cleaned mine this week with some Zep citrus degreaser. Poured "some" in a bucket, filled rest of bucket with water and let them all sit in there over night. They came out just right.

The only thing that I've found that removes the black greasy gunk is Goo Gone.

I had greasy/gunky wheel brushes and:
    1. hit them with BF Pad Cleaner which worked pretty good. Let that dwell, then agitated.
    2. followed that with soak in bucket with Dawn detergent/water which is good grease-cutter.

Brush tips were very soiled. Between 1 and 2, bristles were almost like new.
