Does any manufacture out there offer a 3" forced rotation orbital (DA) ?
My several year old 3" Griots expired tonight and looking for a replacement (that wont stall upon correcting).
Not to my knowledge.
I at one time had bought the griots g8. Worked decent but it was not my cup of tea.
So instead i returned it, and purchased the flex 14-2 150 rotary. I i have shaft extentions for it along with 3 inch backing plate and 3 inch pads along with bigger pads and such.
Didnt have a rotary prior to and it was best choice. I use it so much and has made its money back and then some. I also have supa beast. Flex makes damn good machines imo.
Think about it this way, a rotary can do everything and more than any 3in da can do. And the small difference in size moot
^^ I actually find the G9 quite capable. Of course it can stall. You should use less pressure when using smaller tools - pad size - according to one well known detailer because of the smaller pad it spins faster. So I started to use a lighter touch on the G9 - compared to the G15, works fine.

Don't you mean G8?...G9 is a 5&6" polisher...he mentioned G8 not G9
That may be exactly what i'm looking for if it is indeed forced rotation...I watched the video of Mike P demo'n the unit and read the product description...and don't see mention of forced rotation.
Thank you for the mention of this unit!

The PXE 80 is not forced rotation but it has good power but can stall if not using proper technique (level). I use it a lot and like it. Much more power than the similar but smaller Rupes Nano. Also realize it may have less power than you’re looking for because it is also battery powered.
