Electric Pressure washer GFI Plug dead

I have a Royobi electric pressure washer for 2 years, it looks like the GFI plug is dead. Does anyone make a replacement unit I can pop on there or are they so amp/watt specific that a generic GFI plug wouldn't work with my unit?

You need to size it to the number of amps, which would either be 15 or 20 amps but I doubt there is much of a price difference so I would just get a replacement GFCI plug for 20 amps but make sure it is a standard plug. A true 20 amp plug has one of the 2 prongs turned 90 degrees.

I'd recommend validating the number of amps you need based on what your electric motor specifies. Look for starting wattage or amperage as a motor requires more current initially to turn on and then it slows down to the running current. If you know the starting wattage, you can use the following calculator to determine the amperage your motor pulls to make sure you get a GFCI plug that will support that current draw. If you don't know your starting wattage, I'd recommend contacting Ryobi.
