Question A good 100' water hose

I have come to the conclusion there is no perfect hose. What are you using and what do you recommend? Flexzilla? Zero G? It's not rocket science, but even the reviews can be misleading. Some of the top brands get bad reviews.

Obsessed garage. Just get 2 50’ hoses, or email Kyle to see if you can get 100’

The GG “Professional Water Hose” is awesome. They only sell on the GG site but I will say it’s hands down the best and nicest hose I’ve ever owned. FWIW, I also take it with me on mobile jobs and it has held up incredibly well.

    Is that hose heavy?

I agree with previous reply, the Obsessed Garage hose is perfection.

I wouldn’t say it’s heavy, but I feel it has “heft” if that makes sense. Feels like it should for how much it costs. It also is very abrasion resistant and doesn’t retain coil memory and damn near never kinks.

For garden hose I like my Craftsman all rubber hose. Mine is 50ft and really heavy. I’d not consider a 100ft version due to weight. I think OG sells a nice Goodyear all rubber too and I’d think it’s also going to be heavy.

For the power washer I do use OG’d Kobrajet and it is pretty nice.

Re: A good 100' water hose

I upgraded to a 50í Flexzilla hose 2yrs. ago and itís been the best hose Iíve ever had.

It lives up to its claims of never kinking.

Compared to regular hoses Flexzilla is extremely lightweight and easy to handle. I can easily pick it up and put into a truck if I need to take it somewhere mobile. Trying to do that with ordinary hoses is a complete PITA. Other hoses are much heavier and stiff whereas Flexzilla is super easy to coil.

I can easily toss my 50í Flexzilla into a kitchen trash bag if I need to.. Try that with an ordinary 50í hose.

I have quick connects set up at every end including at the spigot, so connecting the backyard hose to the front yard hose is fast and easy if I feel like cleaning a vehicle parked on the street without moving it. [or just a quick wheel cleaning]

Quick connects on my nozzles, I even have a quick connect set up for perfect sheeting rinse action.

Brass shut off valve at my fingertips so I can control the water flow or shut it off in order to switch nozzles.

For my needs I canít think of a hose Iíd pick over this 1. Highly recommend.
