Re: What is the softest, least agressive 6” finishing pad to Apply Collinite 476S Wax?

Paint does look better, but the polish is an abrasive so there’s your cut. IDK Ric, if the gloss pad does have cut in it, I’ve never noticed it. I also only use em with Essence and Gyeon Primer.

A little off subject, that Caddy just reminded me of a new Camry I just passed in East Oakland. It had Vogues on it, LMAO. On a Caddy, Yes. A Camry, Nope!

[I was told I was sent the new version of this polish in the old packaging, but from the little research I’ve done the old version is gray, and the new version is white? I dunno, but my polish is gray and has a chemical scent to it]

Here’s the paint fully prepped after a quik claying with the clay towel.
It was nearly impossible to get things to show up in these pics.

After a fairly quik buffing cycle on speed 4.5
It’s really hard to tell from these pics...

    Before

    After

    I had alot of dusting.

But in the end my paint looks good again.

Does this prove anything? Not really... I mean how could we not expect these kind of results when using a long throw polisher. But either ways the defects were removed with the Gloss Pad.
    Just trying to learn.
Some of those marks look like the clear coat has detached ? And has oodles of stone chips?
Or is it just the camera? Or polish dust?
( personally I find it very difficult to capture decent images of paint flaws )
E.g. looks like 3 horrible scatches (2 on the edge and one in the corner) yet its in fact totally blemish free ! ... must be felected light or something :-/

Lake Country CCS Gold. It's like buffing with pillow.
