    Re: Bought this from Costco!

I have a very strong gas powered pressure washer. Honda motor. over 3000... cant recall exactly. Ryobi from HD I think. I don't put it close to the paint at all. Mainly for the wheel wells and to rinse the dirt off prior to the foam cannon experience... i did find this link... i hope it's okay to post it... it was from a quick Google search...

    Bought this from Costco!

Got it today! Spent about 15 minutes putting it together and another 15 trying to figure out why it had no pressure! I felt stupid when I put the tip on and it worked like a charm! Tomorrow it will be put to good use by doing my wifes little red sports car!

    Nice find!!

I'd throw away that red nozzle. You'll never use it for anything, especially washing cars.

A 40 degree nozzle with 3.0 and or 3.5 orifice would be perfect for that machine. Either would help knock down the pressure a little bit so you wont have to worry about anything.

I don’t think it’s well above 2000, I think the difference you feel/perceive is a higher flow rate compared to the average stand alone pressure washer.

This discussion is precisely why I went with a SunJoe SPX3000 (rated 2030 psi) for doing vehicles. More than enough power to clean....not so much power that i have to worry

I’m not worried about the pressure. 9 times out 10 it will have a foam cannon on it!

Don't skip the pressure rinse step. A pressure rinse will remove far more dirt and grime than a foam bath ever can. If you combine both you can expect to remove as much dirt as it is possible without touching the paint. But if you only do a foam bath and then rinse off with a hose, it will be far less effective than pressure rinsing without using any soap.
