    I have been wondering what is the most important in considering polishers.
    1. Amps
    2. Watts
    3. oscillation's

    1 and 2 are are proportional because voltage is fixed. You can derive one from the other so as long as you're looking at the same units they are going to tell you the proportional difference or sameness.

    W=V*I (watts equals volts times amps OR power equals voltage times current in simple terms)

    W (watts) units of electrical work
    V (volts) units are measuring electric potential (120V in most of the US)
    I (current) units are measuring force

    If you see something like 1200 watts --> 1200=120*I or I=10 amps
    If you see something like 8.5 amps --> W=120*8.5 or W=1020 watts
