Anyone using Hose Slides when washing?

I've been contemplating purchasing these Hose Slides as the cords and hoses are constantly getting stuck under the tires. Anyone use them?

The Autogeek Hose Slide - 2 Pack

Like you, I move pretty quickly during a detail and think I'd forget that I put them there and drive over em. Are there any DIY options?

    Thanks,
    David

I made my own and absolutely love them. They would be a great investment for washing cars. I never wash without them but always remember to remove them when your done!

My original DIY set was cut from the bottom of a dollar store bucket. I'm in the process of making blocks with Star Board.....and one end will be rounded. My plan is to drive the car up on them.....thereby allowing me to get to the bottom edge of the tire for cleaning and dressing...and the rounded edge will keep the hose from getting caught. Will post pics when done

Please be sure you make an extra set for me! Sounds like a cool idea.

I had those and they worked fine. I eventually bought a set that has a plastic roller in the front, and those work even better, gave my Autogeek ones to a friend.

I love mine. Worth the investment. I got mine off Amazon. The purple ones were like 2 or 3 dollars less, I guess because they were purple. But whatever. A guess the bonus is I never forget about them because they're purple.

I've got to start using them. Last time I washed my car, the hose kept getting stuck under the tires even though I tried to make sure there was enough slack to get around. It's infuriating.
