Trouble with my Brinkmann
I went to use my Brinkmann Swirl Finder light today and the battery was dead. I charged it but as soon as I pull the trigger the lights start to dim. I guess the battery is shot. Can you buy replacement batteries any where online? It's not the one with the swiveling head.

I believe the older model you have has been discontinued.

A lot of people myself included had one and all had the same problem. IMO they are just plain garbage. You can buy all sorts of good LED lights for so much less.
Always keep the shine in your life.

Re: Trouble with my Brinkmann
Time to move on to a new light. Many small, cheap LED flashlights will do as good, or better.
I took mine apart to try to see what I could do to it, and couldnt get it back together for some reason. If I remember right, the batteries looked very similar to a "C" size battery.

You can find replacement batteries at most local specialty battery stores.

As was previously noted, there are good cheap bright LED flashlights now, not to mention the specialty ones sold here like the Flex and Rupes.

No doubt, but I do find the brinkmann to have a unique light color and in some cases can be the ticket to spotting certain defects. For <$15 I was happy to keep mine working. I actually replaced my battery almost 2 years ago and it is still working as expected.

I never found it that useful, honestly. But then I'm not doing what you're doing, and you're the king of lighting as we all know. You aren't affected by those announced layoffs, are you?

Ok so we have the King of Lighting, dlc95 is the Master of All Pads, and Joe@SuperiorShine is the King of all Polishers... What's left?😃

Re: Trouble with my Brinkmann
I have two dead Brinkmanns sitting on my shelf. One of these days I should try and replace the batteries.
