I let Collinite 476 dry so I used a wax-as-you-dry product to help take the Collinite wax off. Did I diminish its effectiveness?

It's a nice cool windy day here in SW Florida which contributed to the Collinite 476 drying real fast. It was a bear to take off so I used a wax-as-you-dry product to help remove the Collinite. It worked, but now I'm wondering if I've mitigated the Collinite's effectiveness. The wax-as-you-dry product does say it has carnauba in it.

    Your thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. If the 476 was hard to take off, you might try applying it thinner, and/or do a panel at a time so it doesn't dry for so long. I'm betting that your application was too thick, heavy waxes like this (all LSP's, really) need to go on very thin.

I'll use a couple of different methods to
assist in removal of Waxes that have
    dried too fast:

    •"Spray-on products" such as:
    -QDs; wax-as-you-dry; etc.

    "Like Removes Like"
-In this case: apply some #476
to the dried #476...to soften it up.
