Why would you "top" with Folex? Is the APC not cleaning well enough?
I use dedicated cleaners so I don't have to worry about dilutions. I'd never touch leather with 4:1 APC.
Folex for most fabrics, megs APC at 10:1 if the plastic is dirty, usually use a quick interior detailer for most surfaces. And a ph balanced leather cleaner.
APC IMO should always be followed with something (even water/damp towel) on fabrics to neutralize and remove the surfactants to avoid more quickly resoiling the fabric again.
Folex is already neutral and does not require this step.

The 2 products I now use for carpets as well. Zep Premium Carpet Shampoo works excellent and leaves a fresh scent in my opinion. For vehicles with a little odor that the owner doesn't purchase the higher end shampoo package, I'll spray liberal amounts of Zep Air & Fabric Refresher after a thorough vacuum and panel wipe down.
Wow, a Zep version of Febreeze! Probably better and cheaper too! Thanks Richard.
The more complete answer is look for it at HD where they have the carpet cleaning machines because they sell it by the gallon in that section and it is a better deal than the smaller bottle.
I see a few of you use Zep Carpet Cleaner. I was looking at it yesterday at Lowes and it is saying it can only be used with a steamer or extractor. I assume I can still spray it on, agitate, and either wipe clean with a MF or MF+steam. If this is the case, can't beat 9.00 for a gallon of that stuff!

In my case, I do use my extractor with it. For Folex I don't.
