diamond plate tool box
Hello,
Soon I will be placing an order for a UDM. I have 3 diamond plate tool boxes that needs work. I already have an excellent cleaner, however it leaves the boxes dull and milky looking. Am I correct to assume at this point I need to polish the metal and then top it with a sealer? This is the point where I need advice from those with experience. What is a good polish and sealer to use? Also, what pad would I need to get for the polish and would I put the sealer on by hand or use a pad (if pad is needed, which one do I buy?)
Thanks in advance,
JRF

I will be trying some products next week on a tool box. This is what I'm going to do. First, wash with soap, leave wet and rewash with DG#831. Polishes with a good Aluminum polish. I made a trade for some Surf City Garage Absolutely Aluminum Perfect Polish. See if it's anygood! Look for an review next week....
If you can't wait, I know I like Mothers, Nevr-Dull, Adam's and Duragloss metals polishes products....
What ever you do keep us updated! And we like pics around here....

I like the EagleOne Nevr-Dull... Have used it on all types of metals, most recently the stainless steel slide on my .40 cal Taurus (yes handgun). had some rust looking stuff on it and the never dull took it off (had a little bit of a cutting action to it), and made the stainless steel absolutely glow.
FWIW.
