Long Lasting LSP....Which One To Choose?
Hey geeks...
I'm planning on asking a few friends to drop their car off at my house on a Saturday so i can do a full interior/exterior detail.
I'm not quick and dirty, as the saying goes, when it comes to detailing, so a good 8-10 hours seems like a decent time frame for me to get it done.
I'm well known for the quality of work I do as a auto technician, and all of these details would be free. Word of mouth seems to be the best kind of advertising....espically when it comes to auto repair. I'm wanting to find out if detailing as a side job is for me.
I'm looking for a good LSP that will last for quite a while. I use Megs NXT 2.0 for my car and truck, but since they are my vehicles, i can wash and re-apply the NXT as i see fit. Looking for a pooduct that will last on a Daily Driver.
Thanks in advance for your replies....

I got 5 months with one application of Menzerna Powerlock with sub-zero temps and a lot of road salt.

Collinite.. any of their LSP's really.
Optimum Opti-Seal.. I'm seeing 3-6 months out of it easy, super easy to apply.
DP Paint coating.. its a coating but is super easy to apply and I have clients that have had it since it was first released and it's still going strong.

I also think Menz Powerlock is a very good overall performer - good durability, looks, slickness, ease of application, etc.

For freebies I'm pretty sure I would go with 845.

I'm going to go with Meguiar's ultimate wax. It's readily available locally and it's about $20.

Coatings have been designed to be longer lasting
than Waxes and Sealants.
Perhaps this type of LSP would be in the neighborhood of what you're looking for?...If so:
They would present a fantastic opportunity to test your quality of work skill-set.

Second Meg's ultimate. OTC and really does last. Hit with UQW every couple of washes. Dynamite combo.
