Whats the temp like outside? Mist your pad, and if the polish gets dry then mist that too.

I have noticed Menz is different than 3M that I normally use. Are you using much of it? That would be the first thing to correct. No chance of trying it on another panel and keep the machine going a little longer than now? I would try to see what happened if I kept the machine going longer in order to get enough "heat" to melt the grinds in the polish.

A friend of mine just came by and we're both detailing heads. He asked about 3M's toughest deoxidizer, it wouldn't come off for him either but it's a product you work until you see the haze gone and it clears up.

    Good luck, man.

I always keep a spray bottle of water with me while I machine detail a car. Just for those reasons

To achieve excellence, excellence cannot be rushed. Technique is just as important as the product used.
While my approach takes more time, the results are far superior.

That is odd, I'd never had that happen when I'm using Menzerna. I wonder if it's moister related/altitude and so on becuase where I'm at I don't get any issues when using my Menzerna....mmm...interesting.

I don't understand why either. I have used it outdoors in almost 90 deg weather, in half sun/half shade. I used it per the instructions......6 inch stripe of Menz on the pad. First time I used it, I added a touch of Optimum Polish to it (per Al-53) and it worked fine. 2nd time on a different vehicle, I just used Menz without the OP and it also worked fine.
Like the others have suggested here....use a spritz of water. Don't use XMT pad conditioner because it'll gum up your pads when using Menzerna. Other than adding a pea-sized drop of OP to your combo, I don't know what else to suggest.

I think if you're using a "fat X" that you're using too much polish on your pads. Are your pads caked over?
