Re: Next best hand held swirl finder succeeding the discontinued Brinkmann dual xenon?
Ive got the brinkmann 800 tuff max and for the life of me I cant spot swirls with it. I use one of those 500 watt halogen painters lights from Home Depot. If you hold it a good 4-6 foot back you can spot defects really easy.

It's not nearly as portable as the Brink. They also get hot and the Brinkmann is outstanding and showing swirls. It's the perfect temperature of light or something.
Re: Next best hand held swirl finder succeeding the discontinued Brinkmann dual xenon?
I love the Brinkmann!! I have shined my Brinkmann on millions of dollars worth of vehicles... I am down to my last four so .....
I made contact with the manufacture of the light. They are a Chinese company and told me Brinkmann choose to stop offering the light because LED is all the rage now. They said I could put in an order and they would make them and send me a container full. I could even name it (The Swirl Finder), change colors etc....
I'd like maybe 20 to put away. If I had away to sell a container full I'd seriously consider it.

A lot of people were having problems with them. They didn't seem to last very long. If you look at the reviews on amazon you'll see it didn't rate that high.
