Washing MF pads and foam applicators

Is it ok to machine wash MF applicator pads with Micro-Restore Microfiber Detergent? Or is there anything on the inside of it (like a sponge) that shouldn't be put in a machine wash?

Also, how do wash your foam applicator pads after use? Just use dawn or an APC and soak in a bucket of water and/or hose off? I assume these absolutely should not go in a washing machine (even in cold water?)

And how do you wash (if you do wash) new foam pads before a first use.

    Thanks!

Just posted some links with explanations as to why it can be hard to wash anything used with a wax or paint sealant and it has to do with these types of products not being easy to dissolve and wash and rinse out...

    Here's the thread,

Another consideration is to not wash items with wax and paint sealants with items used with water soluble things like compounds and polishes because if you don't wash and rinse out all of the insoluble ingredients found in waxes and paint sealants they can migrate onto everything in the washing machine or bucket.

Not sure how D.O. you want to go but I can go as D.O. as anyone and usually more so...
