What backing plate for 7424XP?

I made my first post today asking which 7424XP backing plate to use. I purchased your DVD a few days ago and watched every minute. You are a fine teacher my friend. I would be most grateful if you could tell me what pads and backing plate you would use if you made the DVD today. Also do I need to purchase a counterweight?

We have a dark blue 08 Nissan Quest that's in great shape, and I don't think I need anything real aggressive. I tought the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner and then Polish, followed by NXT Tech Wax 2.0 should give us a great finish. My mind is open even though I like Meguiar's products.

I am ready to purchase whatever you recommend. Thanks very much for your patience with a newbie learning the forum. Man you must work some long hours, GOD love you!
